Back, Neck and Shoulder Massage in Dubai
At your home, hotel or villa — anywhere in Dubai
One hour, one region — the desk-worker’s booking
Most people do not need a full-body massage. They need one honest hour spent entirely on the back, neck and shoulders — the three places a Dubai working week actually lands. That is this booking: no legs, no feet, no evenly-divided circuit, just concentrated work where the screen, the commute and the phone have left their mark. At your home, hotel or villa anywhere in Dubai, 24/7, flat AED 300 with travel included.
Why we will not sell you thirty minutes
Search this treatment in Dubai and you will find 30-minute sessions at AED 150 to 160. We could list one too, and we have chosen not to. Here is the honest arithmetic: a therapist travels to you, sets up a table, checks pressure and preferences, and packs down afterwards. Inside a half-hour booking that leaves roughly twenty minutes of hands on your back — enough to warm the muscle up and then stop, which is the massage equivalent of a warm-up with no workout. An hour spent only on your upper body is not a longer version of that; it is a different treatment, and it is the one that actually shifts a knot you have carried for a fortnight.
The screen shoulders
Eight hours of forward posture stacks load between and around the shoulder blades. This is the single most common complaint we hear on WhatsApp, in any area of the city.
The commute neck
Forty minutes each way on Sheikh Zayed Road holds the neck and right shoulder in one position twice a day. Slow work along the upper trapezius does what a stretch in the car park cannot.
The phone base-of-skull
The small muscles where the neck meets the skull tighten from looking down. They are also where a lot of evening headaches begin, and they get proper attention in this hour.
What the hour actually looks like
Warm and open
Broad oiled strokes across the whole upper back first — cold muscle refuses deep work, and skipping this step is why rushed sessions hurt.
Find and hold
Slow, specific pressure into the knots you can point to, timed to your exhale. This is the section you booked the hour for, and it gets the bulk of it.
Neck and skull
Careful work up the neck to the occipital ridge, plus the shoulders’ attachment points — usually the part guests are surprised by, in a good way.
Scalp to finish
Optional and quietly the best five minutes of the hour. Say yes when the therapist asks.
Prefer to stay fully dressed with no oil? Shiatsu covers the same region through clothing. Want the whole body instead? Swedish or deep tissue at the same price.
The commute you do not make
The particular absurdity of booking a neck massage at a spa is the drive there and back — an hour of exactly the posture that caused the problem, wrapped around the treatment for it. At home the table comes to you, and the hour ends with you already where you want to be.
Prices — one honest hour
AED 300 / 60 min · AED 520 / 90 · AED 600 / 120 — VAT and travel included, flat across Dubai. The 90-minute version is upper body plus a full-body finish, which is the booking most guests move to once the knots are under control. Everything we bring:
Back, neck and shoulder massage in Dubai — your questions
Do you offer a 30-minute session?
No, and we would rather explain why than pretend. Dubai salons advertise 30-minute upper-body massages at AED 150 to 160, but by the time the therapist has travelled to you, set up and checked in, a half-hour leaves perhaps twenty minutes of actual work — enough to warm the muscle, not enough to change it. We sell one honest hour at AED 300, spent entirely on your back, neck and shoulders.
What exactly does the hour cover?
Upper back and shoulder blades, the shoulders themselves, the neck up to the base of the skull, and the upper arms — plus the scalp to finish if you like. Because nothing else on the body is competing for the time, each of those gets roughly three times the attention it would receive in a full-body session.
How firm is it?
As firm as you ask. Most desk-worker bookings sit in the medium-to-firm range with focused work on the knots between the shoulder blades. Set your number at the start on your own 1-to-10 scale and one word changes it mid-stroke.
Will it help a headache that starts in my neck?
Many guests book it for exactly that and tell us the evening goes better. We will not make a medical claim beyond that — tension in the neck and the base of the skull is what we can work on, and we do. Recurring or severe headaches deserve a doctor’s opinion, not a massage subscription.
Do I need to undress?
Only to the waist, face down under a fresh sheet, with the lower half of the body covered throughout. If you prefer to stay dressed entirely, book shiatsu instead — same upper-body focus, no oil, clothes on.
Can I book this weekly?
Plenty of guests do, and it is the most repeated booking we have among people who work at a screen. There is no package to buy and no membership — every session stands alone at the flat price, so a weekly habit is simply a weekly booking.
Is it good after a long flight?
For the neck and shoulders, yes — the shape of an economy seat leaves the upper back in exactly the state this hour is built for. If your legs and ankles are the problem instead, book lymphatic drainage.
Who should skip it?
Anyone with a fever or infection, a recent neck or shoulder injury, recent surgery, or nerve pain radiating down the arm — that last one needs a clinician first, not pressure. Ask your doctor if you have a clotting or heart condition. Pregnant guests: book the prenatal session.
